This is a current on-going project of a power plant construction that allows the energy storage by pumping water from a low-level reservoir to a high-level reservoir.
The height difference between the two reservoirs is 574 meters.
This environmentally friendly plant complements the unique landscape of the North of Israel. It relies on the surplus capabilities of other power plants during their low usage hours, to allow higher production capabilities at peak hours.
This plant is constructed by Electra and Shikun and Binui.
